How To Find Music, Artists, Bands and Gig’s Near Me

How chuffed are we? We're ecstatic. Well, I am anyway. It's been a dream of mine to create a product that can assist local music rise again. After years of witnessing venue closes, curfew raises and the X-factor. We've finally released a working version of the new improved StreamHear app.

Over the past year, we listened to friends, family, venues and of course the most precious of all, our local musicians. We asked the important questions. Do you want royalties first? Do you make money from selling albums? Do you make money from gigs? What makes you happier? Luckily, most agreed with the idea that they could post their own gigs, communicate directly to ALL their gig attendees and allow them an app to search for gigs using an interactive map.

Our new landing images in the App store.

A Quick Rundown

New Music Map Icon

You use StreamHear to search for music right? Well, once you download or update the new version "StreamHear 2.0.1" You'll have the gig finder installed with Our Music Pin icon. Because your settings are already applied when you search for music in your location. When you click this icon those same settings you have in StreamHear will scan your region for the same genre of gigs similar to the music you like. Once you click on the icon in the Map you can listen to the top trending songs from all the bands playing at that gig to see if it resonates with you and your friends. You can even get directions if you're new to the area and find more about the gig, who's playing, receive notifications or buy a ticket if they want you to.

What's that band name again?

If you have a memory NOT like mine.... You'll be able to remember band names! So we've added a feature so you can search for a band you've remembered. Searching for a band will give you access to see if they have gigs, new songs or more information about who they are or where they're from. You can access their music stores to find merchandise and discover their social media platforms. Remember though, once you follow a band on StreamHear they will be able to contact you ALL to assist you with news, new gigs and new songs. Getting more plays from you whilst you spread the word about your new local act you've just found is what they'll love you for and repay through staying in contact and connecting.

Plenty to talk about

As we move forward at a steady pace. Keep an eye out for new features and news about Streamhear and changing the face of local music. More to come about local band reviews, Streamhear's unique algorithm, royalties, android version and protecting our local music scene cultures. We even write about this guy making his own drum snares in South West Australia. So take a look and dive deep. Leave a comment if you must and we'd love you to share the news. In a band? Upload your music and gigs now.

Please support our local music scenes and share this.

It is interesting to know this. I’ll tell my friend’s band to check it out.
